Anna Silk

Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is a Canadian actor most famously known for her role as Bo in the Showcase TV show Lost Girl. Silk is a Canadian actress born in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk were the parents of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright and director and is a drama teacher at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. One of Anna's first memories include going to play rehearsals as well as watching her mother do the perform. Silk played a role as a young model in a commercial. The Bachelor in Arts was awarded by St. Thomas University, 1997. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two shows in the early years: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk made the move to Toronto for further development of her acting career in the month of November 1999. She then, over the next decade, she moved in the following decade to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman was her future partner when she met him in 2007 at an Actors' Workshop at the Actors' Workshop in Los Angeles. They got engaged in 2009 before getting married in a civil ceremony that was held in December. Following her conversion to Judaism and they renewed their wedding vows at a Jewish ceremony on April 10, 2011, in Fredericton. Silk Cooperman was blessed with her first son Samuel Jerome Cooperman May 2013 Levi Aaron, Silk's second baby boy was born in May of 2016. Silk's TV work is a part of Being Erica as Cassidy Holland for which she won the Gemini Awards nod in 2009. In 2009 she was cast as Bo Dennis, the lead Bo Dennis in the series Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk was expecting while filming the finale of the third series. Silk announced her pregnancy to the viewers in her Showcase Season Three pre-show special of the 6th of January, 2013. Silk was doing work on the show since the third season finale episode was first conceived on the 6th of January, 2013, announced on Twitter her intention to return June 4th, 2013 as Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production on the fourth. CNN, Cable News Network as well as E! have both named Bo (played by Silk) along with Lauren the actress (Zoie) as one of their favorite television couples. Entertainment Television. Because of Silk's popularity Silk has gained a large presence on social media.
